Ottawa's Next Chapter: An Economic Leaders Panel

Ahead of the 2026 municipal election, the Ottawa Board of Trade is bringing together business and community leaders for an important conversation on the priorities that will shape the city's economic future.

Through a panel discussion moderated by David Coletto, Founder and CEO of Abacus Data, employers, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders will share their perspectives on the opportunities and challenges influencing Ottawa's competitiveness, infrastructure, housing, talent, downtown revitalization, and long-term prosperity. Grounded in the realities of doing business in Canada's capital, the discussion will highlight the policy priorities and investments needed to strengthen Ottawa's economy and position the city for future growth.

Candidates for Mayor and City Council will be invited to the event, providing an opportunity for attendees to have a meet-and-greet with them ahead of the election. While this is not a candidate forum or debate, it is an opportunity for those seeking public office to hear the perspectives of Ottawa's business leaders and better understand the priorities that matter most to the organizations and industries that drive our local economy.
